Academy Topic: Foundational Marketing. The essential survival guide for start-ups

 

About the Topic:

 In this interactive session you’ll learn some of the methods that Active Labs applies to lay a foundation of growth. Let’s review some fundamental marketing principles and how they can be applied to what start-ups need in the crucial go-to-market phase. We’ll explore specifically how a core set of principles can provide a control panel for decision making; how branding allows you to build relationships; and how mapping a customer journey shows you what causes sales.

 

SPEAKER BIO: Marc Williams

Besides being brilliant and handsome Marc also owns Williams Helde Marketing Communications which operates Active Labs. Williams Helde, founded in 1969 is the Northwest’s oldest independent ad agency featuring clients like Philips Sonicare, Alaska Airlines, Nautilus, and adidas. As an adjunct professor Marc has taught at Seattle University within the Albers MBA program. He also served as a Director and Chairman of the Board for the Northwest Entrepreneur Network. An original Seattle native and graduate of Western Washington University, Marc resides in the Magnolia neighborhood with his family and can be found riding his bike to work, skiing or sailing in the Puget Sound.
