Day 1: Power Matching Exchange Facilitates Targeted Investor-Founder Meetings
The first day of the Expo welcomed some of the most active family offices, angel groups, and investment funds from North America for a day dedicated to relationship building and investment exploration.
A key highlight of the day was the Power Matching Exchange and Speed Dating program, an exclusive one-on-one meeting format designed to connect presenting company CEOs with pre-qualified family offices, investment funds, corporate investors, strategic partners, and high-net-worth individuals. The structured format encouraged efficient conversations, with investors and founders exchanging insights, exploring alignment, and identifying potential next steps.
The day also featured insightful keynotes and panel discussions in which investors and entrepreneurs discussed emerging opportunities, market trends, and the importance of building long-term relationships within the early-stage investment ecosystem.
The opening keynote was by Angelo Robles from SFO Continuity, on The Next Generation of Family Office Investing: Compute. Energy. Models. Chips. Data. Robotics. Defense. Space. Angela Taylor, Jonathan Bradley, and Brett May were part of The CVC Investment Panel. Dr. Mathew Rose of SAAVHA Inc spoke on Family Office Lessons Learned: Scaling Growth through Acquisition. The second day was the flagship Investor Capital Expo, bringing together hundreds of investors for a showcase of high-quality investment opportunities.
Attendees evaluated 16 presenting companies spanning technology, healthcare and life sciences, consumer products, real estate, and investment funds. Many of the companies represented ventures that had already secured initial funding and were seeking strategic investors to support their next stage of growth.
