As part of the Investment Summit Series 2024, Keiretsu Forum Northwest returned to Vancouver on July 30th at The Vancouver Club's Grand Ballroom. The last visit to the city in January was a day of lively engagement within the Vancouver angel ecosystem, kickstarting 2024 on a promising note. The July Summit raised the bar even higher, with 250+ investors discovering promising startups, reconnecting with the broader investor community, and engaging in thought leadership discussions.
Five companies presented their groundbreaking concepts to the investor audience. Each presentation was followed by a dedicated Q&A session, allowing investors to delve deeper into the ideas and pose insightful questions. Keynotes from Michael Volker on “Lessons Learned from 25 Years of VANTEC Angel Network Investing - Keys to Building the EcoSystem” and Susan Koch on “Keys to Building Entrepreneurial Team Resilience” were amazing learning opportunities for the attendees.
Nathan McDonald, Chairman of Keiretsu Forum NW& Rockies, said:
“We are pleased with the energy at the Vancouver Investment Summit. The quality of deals and the vibrant networking scene highlight Vancouver's growing importance within the investment landscape. We're particularly grateful for the ongoing support from the investor community here – it's a key reason we keep coming back for more.”
The Vancouver Summit facilitated meaningful interactions between entrepreneurs and potential investors, fostering an environment conducive to informed decision-making and potential collaborations. The event underscored the city's capacity to nurture growth-stage businesses and invite investor interest.
