Speaker: Robin Foote

Independent Director, Saturna Trust Company; MBA

Robin Foote is an experienced business executive, consultant, private investor and corporate director.  She currently serves on the Boards of five private companies and chairs several Board Committees.  She has previously served more than a half-dozen other companies in a similar capacity, until such time as each was either sold or merged.

In her corporate career, Robin was as an early pioneer and ongoing champion of the use of analytically derived insights to augment customer and shareholder value, and she was known for her ability to create programs to capture this value, ultimately doing so as Group Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Bank of America’s retail bank.  She also developed the strategic rationale for numerous bank and non-bank acquisitions and led the post-acquisition integration for several of these.

Robin began her consulting career with McKinsey & Company, and, in 2001, established her own firm (Randolph Partners), which she subsequently merged into Novantas, where she served as a partner through 2012.  Since then, she has focused on using her experience and skills in service of entrepreneurial activity.  She is a member of the Keiretsu Forum Northwest, and an active angel investor.

Throughout her career, Ms. Foote has served variously as Trustee, Director, Board President and/or Treasurer for non-profit organizations engaged in housing, healthcare/medical research and education as well as for a variety of professional associations.

Robin graduated magna cum laude from Smith College with a degree in Economics and with High Distinction and as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School.  She is also a graduate of Northwestern University Kellogg School’s ‘Women Director Development Program’ and the Leadership Greater Chicago program.
