We will be focusing on CleanTech Opportunities and will be presenting our new Rockies Cleantech Subcommittee during the pre-show from 10:00am-10:45am MDT. As always, we have a great lineup of deal flow opportunities for your consideration.
Join us to hear from our Cleantech Keynote Speaker, Mr. Raffael Jovine on the topic, "High Quality Carbon Credits for marine Carbon Direct Removal (mCDR)". A tool to work with the ocean to remove billions of tons of atmospheric CO2, in a sustainable way, while creating a new industry, in record time. New methods for unprecedented challenges.
Raffael Jovine is the Founder & Chief Scientist of Brilliant Planet Ltd. He trained as a Molecular Biochemist & Biophysicist at Yale University, MIT, UCSB and completed post doctorate studies at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. As a serial entrepreneur he started Brilliant Planet in 2013, based on a 2008 patent for a “Method of Carbon Sequestration”. He is a member of the World Ocean Council marine Carbon Direct Removal (mCDR) working group, a member of the Verra Ocean Carbon Working Group, an Ocean Visions Launchpad awardee. He authored more than 10 internationally granted patent families and wrote the book ‘Light to Life’.
